Fine artist Charlotte Firbank-King takes you on an adventure into the mind of a unique artist and how she views the savannah and the birds that inhabit these realms. Charlotte Firbank-King was born in South Africa. At the age of six her family moved to the Victoria Falls, Zambia. It was here that Charlotte developed a deep love for the bush and all its creatures. She received art lessons from the age of three and completed a three year diploma in art at the Pretoria Art College in 1965. She undertakes numerous research trips, using her photographs to paint from.
